The 8 oz. laminated mesh is way thicker than the flimsy tarp I had before, and it actually stays put when the wind picks up. No more scooping out leaves and cat surprises every morning, which honestly makes the whole sandbox usable again.

After one windy week my kids' sandbox stayed completely leaf-free, which never happened with the old tarp setup. The 8 oz. laminated mesh is thick enough that the neighborhood cats finally gave up on it. Worth every penny for the cleanup time alone.

This mesh is much sturdier than the cheap tarp I used before—the 8 oz. material actually keeps the neighborhood cats out. Fits snugly and the leaves just blow right off.
