The stained wood has survived two rainy seasons without any rot or splintering, which honestly surprised me for the price. My twins spend hours in it, and the polyester roof keeps the sand dry even after a downpour. Setting it up took maybe twenty minutes with a screwdriver.

The waterproof roof actually held up through a full week of rain, and the sand stayed dry underneath. My two kids have been out there every afternoon since we set it up, and the fire-retardant polyester cover snaps on tight enough that I don't worry about it blowing off.

The waterproof roof has held up through two heavy rainstorms, and the fire-retardant fabric feels sturdy enough to last for years of backyard play. Assembly took me about an hour solo, but the wood's already sealed finish means zero prep work before setting it up.
