Steel is steel, but these brackets feel properly thick and sturdy, not flimsy like some cheaper sets I've handled. The adjustment mechanism clicks into place with a satisfying fit, and I had them mounted on our swing set in under an hour.

Finally got around to installing these on the old swing set and the steel brackets feel solid, no wobble at all. The adjustable feature made it easy to get the gliders perfectly level on our uneven ground.

Bought these to upgrade our swing set, and they slide so smoothly now. The adjustable feature made installation a breeze on our existing frame, and the steel pairs feel solid enough to last for years.
